Harry Potter fans received great news in the last hours, since it was confirmed that Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone , the first installment of the popular saga, will be screened in cinemas around the world to celebrate 20 years of its premiere. The appointment for Argentine spectators will be on Thursday, November 11 and tickets can be obtained from this week.
Directed by Chris Columbus - who also took charge of the next installment, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets -, the film that began the magical story hit theaters in 2001, dazzling young and old. Based on the first of seven novels written by JK Rowling , Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone introduced Daniel Radcliffe , Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Harry, Ron and Hermione respectively, the three great protagonists of the saga.
Raising more than 1 billion dollars worldwide, this installment unleashed the furor for a story that continues to this day, because after the end of the saga in 2011, Warner focused his attention on another series of films in the universe : It is about Fantastic Beasts, the saga starring Eddie Redmayne that was released in 2016.
