Superman is one of the iconic DC characters that is very popular with fans. You could say almost all DC media, must have presented Superman in the universe. That's why there are so many incarnations of Superman that almost all of them are liked and are also highly anticipated. In addition to the DCEU Superman, played by Henry Cavill, recently fans have just been introduced to Superman, played by Tyler Hoechlin in the Superman & Lois series . And it seems that there will be another Superman that will be introduced by DC in the future.
Soon one of the DC series that fans have been waiting for, namely Naomi, will soon release its first episode on January 11 on the cable television channel The CW. Given the role of Superman which is quite important in the life of a young superhero named Naomi, many fans hope that Hoechlin's version of Superman will appear in the series later. However, because Hoechlin's version of Superman is in a different universe from Naomi, it seems that this will be difficult to realize. Instead, it was recently revealed that there will be a new Superman in Naomi's solo series later.
On Good Day Sacramento , actress Kaci Wallfall who plays Naomi in the series said that the Naomi series would have its own Superman in its universe. "I think Naomi's [series] is in her own universe, so Tyler Hoechlin who plays Superman in Superman & Lois isn't going to appear in the series," said Wallfall. "But I'm glad that fans are really looking forward to Superman, especially in the first [Naomi] episode."
Wallfall's statement is in line with what executive producer Ava DuVernay previously said in the Television Critics Association virtual event. "Right now we are still not thinking about a crossover," said DuVernay some time ago. “She [Naomi] is on her own, and I think that the series is the first part of the Naomi-verse, so audiences need to get to know her first. Naomi's series is her solo story and we will focus on her adventures."
Besides Kaci Wallfall, the Naomi series also stars Camila Moreno, Alexander Wraith, Cranston Johnson, Barry Watson, Mary-Charles Jones, and many more. In DC Comics, the character whose real name is Naomi McDuffie is a young superhero who is told to go to Metropolis to find a mentor who can guide him, and Superman is the person he's been looking for all this time. We'll see, geeks, who is the new Superman that will be introduced in the Naomi series .
