Being one of the most anticipated series, The Boys Season 3 will continue the adventure story of Hughie (Jack Quaid) with the vigilante group The Boys to bring down the evil company Vought International which has created many eccentric superheroes to gain public trust. Basically the superhero that has been created by Vought is a promotional product intended for their own benefit, especially their flagship super team, The Seven.
In addition to The Boys consisting of ordinary humans such as Hughie Campbell, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), and superwoman Kimiko Miyashiro (Karen Fukuhara), The Boys Season 3 will also return. the old Supes (superhumans) consisting of Homelander (Anthony Starr), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), and many more. It is also confirmed that in Season 3 there will be many interesting new Supes, one of which is Soldier Boy as seen in the behind-the-scenes photo below:
Photos BTS recently shared by the cast Soldier Boy himself, that Jensen Ackles previously famous for her role in the popular series Supernatural. In this BTS photo, Soldier Boy is seen standing fiercely on top of a ruined building surrounded by fire. Although the details of the costumes are not clearly visible, his flagship shield is enough to steal the attention of fans. The shield is Soldier Boy's pride tool that he often carries with him when he is in action, because basically he is a play on Captain America from Marvel who often carries his vibranium shield.
In the original comic created by Garth Ennis, Soldier Boy is one of the very first Supes Vought created in the 40s during the World War II era. In his time he was the leader of the legendary Super Payback team. In The Boys Season 2, the new CEO of Bought International Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) mentioned Soldier Boy as one of the Supes who killed many Nazi soldiers from Germany during World War II.
Possibly in The Boys Season 3 later, the presence of Soldier Boy is intended to restore the good name of Vought International, which previously received a lot of hatred from the public after one of the Supes from The Seven's super team, Stormfront, was revealed as a very racist Nazi. It looks like it will be interesting to see how Hughie and his friends will face Soldier Boy in the series The Boys Season 3. We'll just have to wait for their action on the Amazon Prime Video streaming channel which will release its first three episodes on June 3, 2022.
