At the end of the promotional video, a mysterious character is seen wearing a mask and night vision goggles. There is no official information from Marvel Studios that says who the mysterious character is. However, if you look at the footage of the next scene, when Kate Bishop looks panicked and says, "who is she?" it is likely that this new character has great abilities, which overwhelms Clint and Kate. Many fans have speculated that this character is Yelena Belova.
Played by Florence Pugh, Yelena was last seen in the credits of the film Black Widow (2021). In the scene Yelena is approached by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dryfus) who shows Clint's photo and says that the person in the photo is Yelena's next target as well as the person responsible for her sister's death, namely Natasha Romanoff (Scarlet Johansson). And it's very possible that Yelena will take revenge on Clint in Hawkeye one of the upcoming episodes.
Actress Florence Pugh herself has been confirmed to be involved in the Hawkeye series, after producers pleaded with Marvel to bring up her character. And if it's true that the mysterious character in the latest video is Yelena, it looks like it will be interesting to see how Kate as the next Hawkeye candidate faces Yelena, who is predicted to be the next Black Widow.
