Actor Russell Crowe has officially joined the Marvel film which also spins off Spider-Man ( Kraven the Hunter ). The 57-year-old actor is a new cast that has been revealed in the Spider-Man spin-off project.
Although details of the actor's role have not been revealed, he is likely to play a member of the Kraven family alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Aaron himself has revealed his role as Kraven in the project.
Russell Crowe's Second Chance in the Marvel Universe
Following this latest announcement, it will certainly be Crowe's second Marvel film after starring in Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder . While Kraven the Hunter is still an adaptation of characters from Marvel Comics, but not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
JC Chandor will be sitting in the Director's chair for the spin-off . Chandor will also be working with Arthur Marcum as a writer. Arthur Marcum himself was previously one of the successful figures with Iron Man (2008), Transformers and Uncharted . The film is slated for release in theaters on January 13, 2023.

Kraven The Hunter is one of the projects Marvel is developing to expand on Spider Verse . Previously, Sony as a partner in this project has released Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage . Sony will also prepare two films that will be released soon, namely Morbius and Madame Web.
Kraven the Hunter is one of Spider-Man 's enemies who made his comic debut in The Amazing Spider-Man No. 15. He is a Russian big game hunter who is famous for defeating Spider-Man to bury him alive and take his identity.

Following Russell Crowe's announcement of the project. At least two actors have officially participated in the Sony and Marvel Studios collaboration project to expand Spider Verse . Previously, Sony had announced the appointment of Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the project which will be released in 2023.
In the project, Aaron will play Kraven who is one of Spider-Man's enemies. Prior to appearing in this project, the 31-year-old actor had appeared in the MCU universe as Quicksilver. He appeared with Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch) and Ultron in the first sequel to The Avengers ( Avengers: Age of Ultron ) in 2015.
