The Ducati riders dominate the front row of the San Marino 2022 MotoGP starting grid. Jack Miller will start the race as a pole sitter.
The 14th series of MotoGP 2022 takes place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli with the title MotoGP San Marino. The race takes place Sunday (4/9/2022) night.
Miller became the fastest in the qualifying session with a time of 1 minute 31.899 seconds. He outperformed two other Ducati riders, Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini.
Francesco Bagnaia had to withdraw three positions from the grid obtained from the qualifying results, because of the penalty obtained in the first free practice session. FB63 will also start the race in fifth position behind Maverick Vinales.
Johann Zarco started from the sixth grid, followed by Luca Marini. The leader of the standings, Fabio Quartararo, started from eighth position ahead of Aleix Espargaro and Miguel Oliveira who filled the top ten.
